The Hill Pigeon (Columba rupestris) is a species of bird in the Columbidae family. It is found in China, India, Kazakhstan, North Korea, South Korea, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan. This species frequents open rugged country from 1,500 to 6,100 meters. It uses cliffs, gorges and rocky outcrops as nesting sites. Closely related to Columba livia but more commonly found at higher altitudes.
