SPECIES INFO

The White-naped Xenopsaris, Xenopsaris albinucha, is a species of bird in the Tityridae family. It has traditionally been placed in Cotingidae or Tyrannidae, but evidence strongly suggest it is better placed in Tityridae, where now placed by SACC. It is monotypic within the genus Xenopsaris. It is found in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Paraguay, and Venezuela. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests and subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.
