The Black-faced Dacnis (Dacnis lineata) is a species of bird in the Thraupidae family. It is found in Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Peru, Suriname, and Venezuela. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical swamps, and heavily degraded former forest. The subspecies found western Ecuador and the inter-Andean valley of Colombia are sometimes considered a separate species, the Yellow-tufted Dacnis (D. egregia).
