The Bronze-tailed Comet (Polyonymus caroli) is a species of hummingbird in the Trochilidae family. It is monotypic within the genus Polyonymus. It is endemic to scrub and forest-edge at altitudes of 2,100-3,400 m. (6,900-11,150 ft) in the Andes of Peru.
