The Chestnut-tailed Antbird (Myrmeciza hemimelaena) is a species of bird in the Thamnophilidae family. It is found in Bolivia, Brazil, and Peru. It is sometimes split into two species, the Southern Chestnut-tailed Antbird, Myrmeciza hemimelaena and the Northern Chestnut-tailed Antbird, Myrmeciza castanea.
Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montanes.
