The Mottle-cheeked Tyrannulet (Phylloscartes ventralis) is a species of bird in the Tyrannidae family. It is found in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Paraguay, Peru, and Uruguay.

Its natural habitats are temperate forests, subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.
