The Rufous-necked Hornbill, Aceros nipalensis is a species of hornbill found in South Asia.
It is currently found in Bhutan, north-east India, Burma, southern Yunnan and south-east Tibet, China, Thailand, Laos and Vietnam. Numbers have declined dramatically, and it is estimated that there are now less than 10,000 individuals. It is the longest-bodied species of hornbill at up to more than 120 cm (48 in), but often weighs half as much as the Southern Ground-Hornbill.
