The Rufous-vented Tapaculo (Scytalopus femoralis) is a species of bird in the Rhinocryptidae family. It is found in Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montanes.
