The Southern Nightingale-Wren (Microcerculus marginatus), also known as the Scaly-breasted Wren, is a species of bird in the Troglodytidae family. It is found in Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Panama, Peru, and Venezuela. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests. The rich song varies over its range, suggesting that more than one species is likely to be involved.
