The Striped Honeyeater, (Plectorhyncha lanceolata), is a honeyeater native to Australia.
The Striped Honeyeater is a medium-sized bird with an average length of 22cm. It is adorned with grey feathers covering its body and brown wings and tail.
This species is found mainly in eastern Australia, predominantly inland. It lives in forests and woodlands as well as urban areas.
The Striped Honeyeater builds a cup-shaped nest made from grass and other materials a few metres above the ground and both parents share in the incubation of the eggs.
